Bag Material Descriptions

MIL-B-131 MIL Spec bags-Our strongest high barrier product.   This material is used by the military to package and protect everything from food to weaponry.  This bag is strong enough to withstand the weight of your food as well as provide the ultimate in moisture and O2 barrier protection.  These bags may be used as a self contained storage container.

Commercial Food Grade barrier bags-Typical high barrier product used throughout the food industry.  Much stronger than average metalized Mylar type products, this bag offers outstanding moisture and O2 barrier protection and is recommended to be used within a semi-ridgid container. (cartons/boxes etc...)

Clear Mylar bags- This product offers excellent O2 and moisture barrier protection.  It is recommended that this material be used in conjunction with ridgid opaque containers.
